It starts at the foot of the Wawel Castle hill. Kazimierz used to be the Jewish Old Town, magical - yet quaint. Spielberg used the setting for parts of his Oscar-winning movie Shindler's List. Kazimierz is rather quiet and has very good hotels plus many amazing pubs.
